Does your child struggle with confidence or give up when things get hard?

Confidence grows when children are coached how to overcome challenges!
DMX Martial Arts empowers children to embrace challenges — not just in training, but in life. Through structured practice and supportive coaching, children learn how to face physical and emotional obstacles with greater confidence and enthusiasm.
As they progress, they experience real growth in:
-
Resilience — learning to keep going when things get tough
-
Self-belief — trusting their abilities through hands-on success
-
Emotional strength — staying calm and focused under pressure
Each time a child successfully applies a technique against a resisting partner, they build trust in themselves. These moments of achievement shape a stronger, more confident self-image — one that carries into school, home, and beyond.

Learn simple, age‑appropriate skills that build coordination and body awareness
-
Practice partner drills in a safe, controlled way that develops trust and communication
-
Experience small wins that strengthen self‑belief
-
Build focus and discipline through fun, structured activities

Feel supported by an instructor who understands how children learn
By the end of the three weeks, most children feel more confident, more settled, and better prepared for the challenges of Term 1.

Meet Your Instructor — Alan Figueroa
At Da Mo Xin (DMX) Martial Arts, I believe everyone deserves a calm, predictable, and supportive space to grow.
My teaching is guided by three principles — Consistent, Persistent, Reliable — the foundation of everything we do.
-
Consistent: Children thrive with structure. Every class follows a steady, familiar rhythm.
-
Persistent: I work alongside my students, breaking challenges into SMART steps and moving forward together.
-
Reliable: Kids know they’ll always be met with empathy, respect, and positive regard.
From that foundation of trust, we can guide students toward disciplined, goal‑focused growth. To me, discipline means sticking to an action plan that leads to meaningful results. And we bring that idea to every single class, through simple, achievable steps. Every drill, task, and challenge becomes a chance to practise SMART goal‑setting. Students learn they can pause, breathe, reset — and still succeed. The only way to fail is to give up.
